SMB3 Multichannel delivers 5GbE transfer through a single connection, doubling the speed of the individual ports. In the event of a partial outage such as a switch malfunction or disconnected cable, the system will failover automatically and continue transferring through the remaining port at the default 2.5GbE speed.
